Located on the Chisholm Trail Cleburne is southwest of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. About 6 miles off of I-35W, Cleburne is also served by US Highways 67 and State Highway 171. Cleburne has a historic downtown now home to many antique shops, specialty stores and cafes.
Cleburne State Park offers 498 acres of camping, picnic sites, showers/rest rooms, fishing, trail facilities, a wildlief refuge and more. There are historic homes in varying architectural designs dating to the 1800's; some are open during the Candlewalk Tour during Whistle Stop Christmas.
